Welcome to our page!

Herpetofauna Albanian Society works to conserve and protect different amphibians and reptiles and their habitat in Albania. This is achieved through the implementation and coordination of three programs – research, education, and conservation. We work on both land and marine habitats in Albania, covering the entire country and both Adriatic and Ionian Sea. Our current research focuses mainly on endangered animals like sea turtles. We work with local communities, and involve them on research and awareness. We collaborate nationally, regionally and internationally to advance sustainable terrestrial and marine management.
