Science & Education
The Education activities started even before the founding of the Herpetofauna Albanian Society. Our
team has been giving lectures by visiting schools, holding talks with community, and organizing field
trips with students, for years.
With the founding of the Herpetofauna Albanian Society in 2001, and the opportunity of having projects
aiming education, these activities intensified and the number of people reached increased. Important
environmental days like international day for biological diversity, world turtle day, world sea turtle day
are some of the most important days when we celebrate the rich nature around us with an expanding
programme of lectures, workshops, games, projections and exhibitions.
