Western Caspian terrapin

The western Caspian terrapin (Mauremys rivulata) is distributed only along the lowlands from Shkoder
to Sarande. It feeds mainly on fish, crabs and water insects. The global conservation status for this
specimen as per IUCN is Least Concern.
